Lauren Lindsey Hill is a free-surfer, writer, and perpetual student who hails from St. Augustine, Fl. After abandoning the world of competitive longboarding, Lauren went on to earn degrees in Environmental and Social Science. She has published academically on the intersections of surfing, sustainability, and gender issues. Her work and activism continue to revolve around marine conservation and gender as they relate to surfing culture. Lauren is passionate about helping to create a more open-minded, sustainable, and egalitarian surf culture.
